Adaptation Plans for SMEs with 20-50 Annual Work Units (AWU)

This Action supports SMEs with 20-50 employees in developing and implementing adaptation plans for modern organizational operations and staff skill development, focusing on green management, digital modernization, extroversion and supply chain management.

ESF+ & Greek State

The Action is co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the Greek State.

Eligible Businesses

Existing SMEs that had at least 20 AWU of employment in 2023.

Key Participation Requirements
  • The business plan must be implemented exclusively in one Regional Category.
  • At least two (2) full closed financial years before the submission date.
  • Must not substantially operate in a non-eligible activity code.
  • At least 20 AWU of dependent employment in 2023 (per ERGANI system).
  • Must legally operate exclusively as corporate/commercial enterprises.
  • Must meet the conditions of EU Regulation 2023/2831 (De Minimis).
Central Macedonia 2021-2027

Collaborative Clusters for Promoting Innovation in Local Entrepreneurship

This Action targets existing, new and under-establishment legal entities that are simultaneously owners and operators of the collaborative cluster and operate or plan to operate in the Region of Central Macedonia.

C. Independent Parties: Higher Education Institutions, Research organizations, Businesses, Business Associations, Cooperatives, Non-profit organizations.

Region of Thessaly

Strengthening Business Extroversion Through Promotion and Networking Activities

This Action promotes business extroversion through participation in trade exhibitions organized in Greece, the EU and third countries.

Beneficiaries

Existing Small and Micro Enterprises with at least 2 closed financial years that produce/process the exhibited products.

Eligible Expenses
  • Exhibition participation: booth rental, participation fees (up to €7,500), booth design (up to €2,500), equipment (up to €12,500), travel/accommodation (up to €5,000), communication services (up to €12,500)
  • Booth management: goods transport and insurance (up to €4,500). Total up to €45,000 per exhibition or €90,000 for multiple.
Region of North Aegean

Promotion of Sales and Exports for SMEs

Beneficiaries

Existing micro, small and medium enterprises (Lesvos, Lemnos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria).

Participation Requirements
  • At least 2 full closed financial years (2022-2023).
  • At least 1 AWU of dependent employment.
  • Budget must not exceed three times the highest turnover.
  • Proof of securing Private Participation of at least 25%..

SME Support Targeting RIS3 Sectors for Innovative Products and Services

Increase exports and job creation, targeting sectors of the new industrial revolution.

Specific Objective

Strengthening the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and creating jobs, including through productive investments.

Region of South Aegean

Creating New Jobs for Unemployed in RIS3 Strategy Enterprises

Creation of new full-time jobs by hiring unemployed persons registered in the DYPA (formerly OAED) unemployment registry, in enterprises of key sectors according to the National Smart Specialization Strategy.

Implementation duration is 18 months, plus 3 months for finding and hiring personnel (total 21 months). The action does not apply to seasonal staff.

  • Existing micro and small enterprises established by 31/12/2023.
  • Operating under an eligible activity code.
What is Funded
  • Subsidy for each unemployed beneficiary for 18 months.
  • Coverage of total salary costs (25 insurance days/month).
  • Gross monthly wages, insurance and employer contributions.

Priority Innovation Implementation – Smart Specialization Strategy

The action promotes organizational innovation: "implementation of a new organizational method in business practices, workplace organization or external relations." Innovation must result from strategic management decisions.

  • Submission of a single funding application per Tax ID.
  • Operation exclusively within the North Aegean Region.
  • Two (2) full financial years (2022-2023).
  • At least 1 AWU of dependent employment.
  • Budget must not exceed three times the highest turnover.
  • Private participation of at least 30% of the Total Budget.
Eligible Expenses
  • Personnel: Full salary cost of newly hired staff (up to €17,000).
  • Equipment: Digital, production & mechanical equipment, environmental protection.
  • Buildings: Up to 60% of the subsidized budget.
  • Services: Consulting, software, studies, certifications.
  • Software: Up to 60% of the subsidized budget.
  • Indirect Costs: 7% of eligible direct expenses.
